The frame, lockplate and lever catch retain 99% plus original vivid color case-hardening with a few spots of light hardened oil here and there. The bore is in good shape with definitive lands and grooves but does have some frosting and some light pitting but it still shoot well. The metal work is as appears with a well aged patina and nearly none of the original color case hardening showing.
